Poochie Revival always uses the metric system (more accurately, the SI system) for measurements. Never imperial units.
There are two reasons for this:
- The Revival has European roots and, apart from the British and to some extent the Irish, people here use the metric system.
- No one here really understands the weight and volume units from the inch-based world (except for pint and gallon, which are exceptions). We don’t even know how much an American cup is.
So, sorry if you don’t know what a milligram is. A kilogram is 1,000 grams, and a milligram is 0.001 grams — but I know how hopeless that can sound to Americans. Even if you understand the decimal system, it might be hard to relate to these amounts in your own measurement world.
If you live in the world of imperial units, I can offer you two suggestions:
- Google will often give you the conversion if you type something like
130 mg = oz
(I honestly have no idea what you use for small amounts — 17/187 of a cup?). - Every article published on the website is also posted to the forum for comments: https://talk.poochierevival.info. There, you’ll find an AI assistant. Ask it. You can even tell it to make you a list or table of the quantities from the article in imperial units. Or just use ChatGPT — it can do many things better than the API-based tools we use.
And if you still can’t figure it out — ask… on the forum.
